Why was the first month okay? What changed?

I— I don't know. I just remember that I slept decently at first. And then, right before Lincoln got here, it started getting difficult.

... when was that? Before you got involved with the Fringe division?

[starts pacing]

I met Lincoln Lee in March. But you, you wouldn't have known anything about the Fringe division until the end of September or beginning of October. The timeline was rewritten at the beginning of May, but we know this place can hold memories back.

[skepticalities]

[looks up at him.]

Do you remember who you talked to before October?

[skepticalities]

Bo, maybe. Uh— Wendy Watson. A few other people as well, I think . . .

[onlyoneof]

I'm gonna need you to introduce me.

[skepticalities]

I know you've met Bo. She's the fae?

[onlyoneof]

Right, I'll look for her.

I can introduce you to Wendy. She's usually out and about a lot, so that shouldn't be hard. What are you going to talk with them about, exactly . . . ?

If your memories are not clear and you mentioned fringe events before you were supposed to know about them I can stop agonizing over whether or not I'm in my universe.

[skepticalities]

I get the reasoning.

[onlyoneof]

If the universe was... rearranged. Then it must have started from the moment I stepped down from the machine to make the people who were present there still be there. Except me.

[skepticalities]

Okay . . .

[rubs the bridge of his nose]

So . . . that theory we had about my memories being altered . . .

[onlyoneof]

If I'm right about this it's not just memories, everything was rewritten. Time is not like we perceive it, it's not linear, so if I was... deleted, I was not deleted just from one point in time and it wasn't a gradual change. It was sudden. I simply stopped existing from every single point in time since being pulled out from that lake, after that everything else would have fallen into place by itself.

[sits down on alt!Linc's bed, running both hands through his hair]

That . . . is not that farfetched now that I think about it.

It... it's less complicated than thinking the machine sent me into a completely different universe.
